we made a 3 a.m. trip to the ER, and a trip to the doctors office a few days later. we have been cooped up for a week!
last night her fever was still so high after days and days.
we were really starting to get worried.
so we had a family prayer for her.
today this sweet pea is finally starting to feel a little better!
it is a beautiful "oregon spring is on it's way" day, but she isn't well enough to go out yet.
so opened every window to let the light in, and piled every blanket we had into her crib. blew up the blowup mattress and
jumped...
and jumped
lucy started to get winded and needed a hug from her big brother.
i think they have missed playing with each other this last week.
even in all her sickness she will still able to take her big brother downtown.
the kids were tired after jumping. so we built forts, watched movies, and...
i made "special deliveries" to each of their forts.
they LOVE it when i bring them special deliveries.
popcorn and water (all lucy will eat).
welcome back lu!
i will miss all the cuddling, but am so relieved to see my happy smiley girl playing again.

Fun times at the Smith House! Special deliveries is such a great idea.. I will need to remember that one.
I would like a special delivery of green grass and temperatures above freezing please!
Those photos are fabulous!
I also feel bad for the mama! Hope you are all ship shape real soon! Oh, and can I request some hand delivered popcorn and water?
Man I want to take my kids to the pary happening at the Smith household. Minus the sickness of course. Glad she is starting to feel better. Fun post, I am feeling stir crazy lately with potty training so it will be nice to get out today.
aww so glad she is feeling better, loved the pictures!
Don't cha just LOVE air beds!!
I'm so glad your kids are feeling better!
I followed your glass tile pendant tutorial, and loved them! I even made them with my Laurel class tonight, and they loved them. I wish I had taken my camera to take pictures of the ones they made.
I'm going to post about the ones I made, and would love to link back to your blog, if that's okay!
I want the same delivery as Steph...Talking about open windows and a great oregon spring day makes me sad I am not there. I bet the air smells soooooo good!! and P.s good mom alert, not sure I would even be so ambitious as to pull out the blow up mattress and be such a fun mom...I am the "do your chores mom" I do however let them lay in the bed with me on saturday mornings and watch some HAnna MOntana and thats so raven an Zac and cody...I think that deserves some sort of award....Maybe the "lets be lazy together award"???? sounds good to me!
I just found your blog and I love it! Sorry your little one was sick! My little twins are just getting over RSV. My 2 year old also loves popcorn, when all else fails, feed them popcorn right?
I see she is using her blanket for a very good purpose.
You're pretty much the best mom ever.
They look so sweet together! Glad she is feeling better!
I read this post yesterday but didn't get a chance to comment and this afternoon I was thinking about you because I wanted to do something fun with my kids but couldn't think of anything. I thought "Tanya would think of something fun!" :)
man any kid would feel better just jumping on the bed and making forts! you're such a FUN mamma!!
ooh, I love those pics Tanya. . . your kids are so cute/hilarious/fun . . . and of course it all comes from you :)
