crap

a very terrible thing happened. i had gotten lucy her big christmas present for this year, and hadn't found a place to hide it. i had put it next to my nightstand, and just covered it with a blanket thinking that would just have have to do for now.
then i am upstairs in my room with lucy when i hear her yelling "pony pony pony." i happened to have my camera in my hand! so i go running hoping it wasn't too late and she hadn't really seen it.

it was too late and she was absolutely devastated when i had to take it away.

i need another worst mom of the year award please.

Wait, when did you get the FIRST award? That is sad, but you know what? I bet she'll forget ALL about it and will be thrilled when Christmas morning rolls around.

And hey, at least you GOT her a Christmas present!

Oh man, that stinks! I remember finding a tu tu in my moms closet one year and she said I wouldn't get it since I was snooping, lo and behold Christmas came around, no tu tu. Taught me never to go looking for presents!! Thomas is still at the age where we can get it, let him play with it to see if he will like it then hid it and he forgets about it. At least you know she will love it when Christmas rolls around?

ooo-i'd better learn from you and get the unwrapped presents off the front seat of my car!

I'm liking my hair, but haven't had time to do it since I got the cut....yar! I'll do it sometime and take a pic. I like how it looks on you better, but I think I just have to get used to bangs and let it grow out a bit. Thanks again for letting my stock you.
*oh, STILL have not make my necklace yet! I'm on crafting backorder. I have a million projects lined up, but hopefully i'll get to it soon!

I love the picture of her!! Such a classic moment...I am sure that has happend to all of my kids at one time. I am always amazed when they find things, then I think..hey, what are you doing in there and then I think.. how often are they snooping and I dont know about it???..Oh well,I snooped, my kids snoop, my childrens children will snoop..and so goes on the circle of life....And its good to get bad mom awards...It makes me know you arn't 100% perfect..just 99.9% perfection ;) Just kidding...ummm actually I am serious. lololololol. I have a whole drawer full of bad mom awards...I like to keep them to remind me that next time I will be prepared and have a better plan put to action...Not sure it is working yet??? ;)

yes me again with more crafting questions :) have you heard of that glue E6000 .. do you think i could use that in place of diamond glaze for those cute pendents (just realized i own some) ..or do you think that's mostly for gluing the bails on ?? one day i may actually make these!

Tanya said...

The E6000 can be used instead of the superglue to glue the bails on. Basically you need a dimensional adhesive that dries clear like glass. I looked online at michaels and they have something called Aleene’s® Paper Glaze. I have never tried it but it sounds like that exact same thing as diamond glaze. It's around $4 or $5. Here is the link. http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=gc0354

She is going to love that picture when she gets big. Don't worry give it a couple of days and she will forget all about it, or... she could remember and ask about the pony everyday until Christmas, haha

ha ha, at least you know she likes it!
