tie-on dish towels

these are the greatest!

i came up with this idea awhile ago but it has taken me forever to bring them to life!

need an easy last minute gift idea that everyone will love?

here it is!

you can make all kinds of variations, different sizes, and shapes.

i kept these simple though.

the dish towels i got at target and the fabric is amy butler.

here is what they look like un-tied.  just a long rectangular piece of fabric sewn into a dish towel.

so easy!

           here's how:

these are fun and easy!
they make great little handmade gifts!

i don't know about you guys but i have about a million projects i am working on and house guests, so i am out of here!

merry christmas!

super cute! And what a fun way to fancy up the towel that hangs on my oven door for drying my hands!
Love it!

Best last minute gift for ME! And others too. I think this is brilliant. Sure I've seen old granny kind that are crocheted (nothing against crocheting, I do some myself). I just love how this simple project is brought to life with cute fabric. So cheery and bright for a useful, simple thing we take for granted. Thanks for sharing.

I love these, Tanya! I get tired of picking mine up off the floor after the kids (or my hubby) brush past our oven. I am definitely going to make some after Christmas is over. Thanks for sharing this tutorial!!
