yesterday morning we were busy trying to get ready for church. little mr. trey man decided he would climb to the top of the linen closet with his dart gun. he waited for travis to walk by and very quietly shot him in the back. he took a shot at all of us. he thought he was pretty funny.
really he is a pretty funny little guy to think of that! the other day we were driving and talking about what he wanted to be when he grew up. we happened to be driving behind a garbage truck and he was asking what it was. i told him about it and i said "you know you can be whatever you want when you grow up...you could even be a garbage man if that would make you happy." he said "no i don't want to be a garbage man, i just want to have a normal job and live with you and dad." i said "trey trust me when you grow up you will NOT want to live with mom and dad. you will find a pretty girl that you will want to marry and live with." he said "ok but we will live next door."
i have been going through a "mom crisis" i guess you could call it. trey is just growing up so fast! next year he will go to kindergarden! i am not ready for this yet! right now he loves it when i run up and hug him and he melts right into me and cuddles me. he won't always want to live next door. how much longer of that do i have?!

Ethan loves this picure. I miss that little face...even without the chubby cheek.:) I guess we just have to enjoy these little moment because they grow so fast...good thing you have a great camera!:)
that is so sweet! I wish we could slow time down a little bit and let them stay little. It does go by way to fast. (And I have to agree with Trey's assessment of himself, he IS pretty funny!)
I love that you share all these great stories! Typing them up means that they'll never totally be gone, even as the kids get big! I know what you mean though. I don't know if I'll be excited or if I'll cry like a little baby when my kids start school!I bet he'll always want to live next door because you guys are so darn fun.
awww. that's so cute. What a little sweety. I'm sure he will always love his mama.
oh my gosh that is the sweetest thing i've ever heard. what a nice boy to love his mom and dad so much! and ps...i can totally hear that conversation from your end. that sounds exactly like you...you can even be a garbage man if that will make you happy.
mom crisi! hahaha. . . ohh it is so sweet. Trey is a funny little dude. I don't think I've seen the kid since Eden was 2 and he was almost 3--so it's been awhile. Tanya, you never know though, he may still want to live next door when he grows up. That would be fun :)
Trey really is funny. I can just hear him chuckling to himself and waiting for someone to walk by I miss that kid.
Well in my experience I would say till he is 11. Colton used to cry when I would take him to school because he just wanted to stay home with me...Now he has better things to do then hang out with us. Mitch even said a a few months ago.."you Jana we are loosing him" and I agreed. He still hugs me and cuddles me but not in public and I am not allowed to take him to school! That was a hard one for me..Sending to kindergarten will be sad, you will shed a few tears but it won't last long. Now I love school...everyday I send 4 kids out the door and I am left with my last one...And I cannot wait till moment they are all out the door and on their way and I can start the day. No more tears are shed!! hahahahaha...Its still hard though, I miss my babies that are growing up.
