bean bags

a couple of months ago i made a bean bag for trey.
he loved it!
but there was one problem...his little sister couldn't keep her grubby little fingers away from it :o)
so i decided to make one for her and i just finished it!

these are awesome and would make a great gift for kids.
the kiddo's are jumping on them all day long.

the cover is removable so it can be washed.

isn't she the cutest!?
i'll have to admit that i wasn't thinking that today when we were driving in the car.
she was upset with me for picking her up from her friends house and she said,
"mom i am going to hit you when we get home."
where did i go wrong?
it's a good thing you are so darn cute lucy lu.

where did you buy the pellets and about how much were they? I would love to try to make one for my daughter after Christmas, however I am a beginner and looks like a big job lol Thank you Mindy

Seriously, you get more amazing to me every blog! A bean bag, GENIUS! Did you just do it all on your own or did you have a pattern?? Christmas must just be the funnest time of your for you..You have every excuse to make things..Lucky girl.

P.s..I will tell you where you went wrong...You had a boy first....Haha...I had 5 older brothers and I am sure a whole lot of crazy stuff came out of my mouth that just made my mom blissfully happy. And I am sure I wrestled and boxed and played hockey a whole lot more then I would have had my mom had me first! ;)

But you know I am just kidding right? you really didn't go wrong anywhere, kids are just kids, and I remember Travis when he was young.....and he turned out just fine! ;) ;)

I got the bean bag pellets at a store called Fred Meyer. It was a 100 liter bag. I am sure you can get them online. I saw some on ebay for around $10.

Tanya! So last night I put up a new post and then went and read my friends blogs. Hello, I totally feel like I copied your last post! I wanted to tell you it was purely unintentional, and for some reason, your bloggy blog won't let me post comments on your last one, so I'm posting it here. I would chalk this coincidence up to great minds thinking alike, or something like that, but your crafty/creative mind is far superior to mine, so I will just go ahead and call it a coincidence!

Anyway, love the bean bags, you darling thing. Way to go!

oh my this is adorable!!!! Exactly what I was hoping to do this year! We'll see if it actually happens though, with new baby coming any moment!

I can relate to her comment in the car. Liam, when I put him on time-out, said, "you are a BAD GUY, mommy!" Coming from him those are pretty strong words. Good thing they are so quick to bounce back!

I downloaded the pdf for this and want to do this for Grey once we're in the house. Expect a phone call from me if I start feeling overwhelmed.

Where do you buy your fabric from, I love the girly fabrics you used for your daughters bean bag. I live in the Boise Idaho area and only know of Joannes Fabric and a store called Craft Warehouse. Thanks!

Wendy,

craft warehouse is your best bet. i go there often for fabric. the fabric is by Heather Bailey. you can also buy Heather Bailey on etsy. Good luck!
