o christmas tree

our tree was missing a little something. so trey and i got to work.

we found this little red Styrofoam balls that look like cranberries at craft warehouse.
as well as these clear glass ornaments and ribbon.

trey was having so much fun with these glass balls until...

he decided to stick his little finger inside one and couldln't get it out! he was not happy. i was trying to get it off and started to get worried when his finger started to swell and it really wasn't budging...i hurried to the kitchen....

sprayed a little "Pam" on there and his finger popped right out!
then he was happy again.

we filled the ornaments with the little balls...

made a little loop with the ribbon and then tied a bow at the bottom.

they turned out great!

now our tree isn't lacking anything! except maybe a few more presents for me :o)

When I first looked at your pictures I thiught you were putting cranberries in the glass balls. I wondered how they would last. A very cute idea.

Make sure have that Pam handy when he gets his arm stuck in the cup holder in the arm rest at the movie theater, like my brother did. He got it out just about the time the firemen got there.

Please come make my house beautiful, and full of cute homeade things! I am going to have to remember the whole pam thing, I am sure it will be needed one of these days.

And nobody has commented on how you paused to capture the kodak moment while an appendage was stuck in glass? That is freaking awesome. No wonder Trey was getting a little ticked ! :)Oh and isn't Pam the best when you need her/it?

Thank Goodness for Pam! Poor Trey but so happy you got it loose...reminds me when I was a young mother and got my finger stuck in a Diaperine Wipes for babies...they had the pop up thing with spikes in it and I stuck my finger down it and I could not get it out...I was crying and all and scared it was going to cute my finger off...I was so young and naive...but I got it loose. lol

Love your ornaments!

Ohhh I like your variation of the clear glass ornaments. I've seen several around the blogosphere but not any that could be traditional/rustic/modern depending on what you pair it with. Super cute and versatile!
