a flower in my hair

i wore this flower in my hair today...
i originally made it to go on a pillow...but it looked too cute in my hair!

it felt almost like i was wearing  a vintage hat.

i loved it.

i have never gotten so many compliments in one day...

then my mind started racing with all the colors i needed to have these in...all the places i could wear them...

i went to target and bought these two hats...and yes i did...

i sewed one of these flowers onto each of them...

i was happy about it :o)

yes i know, you need these in your life!

here's how:

after the first part of the flower is finished...put some pins in the back to hold it together.
then start with the second wider strip you have leftover and repeat the steps above.

then hand sew it together.
i started in the middle.
hide your stitches.

when i hand sew i work mostly from the back...this helps hide those stitches.

then your done!
i am obsessed with making these right now!

wait till your husbands are nice and asleep...then sneak down and start crafting.
my husband has no idea what goes on in my nightlife.

i need a name for these flowers!

any ideas???

Thus, I made it in 2 parts. A little flower for when I'm at work that attaches (via hook and eye) to the big flower base for when I'm anywhere but work. Perfection! Thanks for the inspiration!!!

  89. hi! love this idea. I have been trying to find a cool way to make a smaller flower like this for my daughter's nursery! Question for you: do you have any idea what size pieces of fabric I should use for a smaller rose? 3 inches or so in diameter?

I have been trying to find cool, small sized hooks for her wall and have decided to make fabric flowers and glue them to small picture hangers that are hidden behind the fabric flower so I can hang a few of her clothing items from hangers, etc... I think this will do the trick if I know what size fabric to start with...thanks so much!

  97. Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things.

  113. After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don’t believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: spiritualherbalisthealing@gmail.com or WhatsApp him +15068001647 you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything. 114. It has been so great and I really want to say thanks to those people out there who were kind enough to share genuine testimonies about how they actually got all their problems solved one time. It was awesome the day I came across a testimony shared by and wonderful lady about getting several help from a spell doctor by name, Dr. Sabo the name sounded familiar because I have read and watch videos online about this great spell doctor on how he has helped people with fertility spell, bringing back broken relationship after many years of lost love, restoring divorced home to normal and many more. First, I never believed that spell can do all this easily and permanently but after reading a testimony similar to what I was facing at that moment I was convinced and I contacted Dr. Sabo via his email. saboherbalmedicine@gmail.com I got his reply finally and he promised to grant my heart desire and he told me all that was needed for the spell casting and I gladly provided it. Just within 2days my husband called his lawyer and canceled the divorce case and called me to say he was coming back home. I was so happy and thankful to Dr. Sabo Powerful's spell also to those that came online to testify about him. Don't let your problems bring you down because most problems are not ordinary as you see them to be. His email: saboherbalmedicine@gmail.com or whatsapp +1(501)9914802
